Which Performance is Better?
The Civic sedan gives customers more options in this category with either a standard 2 liter 4-cylinder block generating 158 horsepower or a 1.5 liter 4-cylinder turbocharged engine furnishing 174 horsepower.
With the hatchback, buyers get the 1.5 liter version but a choice of 174 horses or 180 horses via the addition of center-mounted dual exhaust pipes. Both the sedan and hatchback strongly overlap when it comes to including either a 6-speed manual transmission or a continuously variable transmission or CVT.
Depending on the particular model, the sedan offers all four possible combinations of engine and transmission while the hatchback links either one to the 1.5 liter block. Amazingly, although there are variations in power output and control between models, fuel usage is quite similar and pleasantly stingy.
You can tune the performance of either one of these vehicles up with a service appointment. We currently offer a Honda oil change coupon and genuine Honda parts. If you're ready to enjoy Honda service, come by now.
