The standard engine on the 2018 Honda CR-V is a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder DOHC unit that puts out 184 horsepower and 180 lb-ft of torque. You can also select Honda’s inaugural turbocharged engine, a 1.5 DOHC I-4 that outputs 190 horsepower and 179 lb-ft of torque. The RAV4 is equipped with a less fuel-efficient, less-powerful 2.5-liter I-4 engine that squeezes out 176 horsepower and 172 lb-ft.
